Gospel singer-songwriter Kamiyama's first hymn album. 7 hymns from the Sambika and Seika hymnals plus an original song by Kamiyama, Jesus Is Born. All are sung in Japanese with three having some English words. Hymns are: Sweet Hour of Prayer, How Great Thou Art, Blessed Assurance (some English words), Amazing Grace (one verse in English), What a Friend We Have in Jesus, Be Still My Soul, Nearer My God to Thee. Instrumentation includes Kamiyama on acoustic guitar plus electric guitar, wood bass, piano, accordion, drums, Hammond organ, pedal steel guitar, bass guitar, viola, banjo, violin. In the booklet the lyrics for each song are accompanied by a Bible passage that the song expresses. Peace and joy characterize the album.
