Jūji Nakada and His Times ( Nakada Jūji to Sono Jidai )

Satoshi Nakamura

Nakada was a graduate of Moody Bible Institute who returned to Japan with a burning vision to reach the common people for Christ. He partnered with missionaries Charles and Lettie Cowman to found the Oriental Mission Society in 1901 which resulted in the birth of the Holiness Church and its explosive growth to over 20,000 members. He saw 2 major revivals and influenced the spread of Dispensational theology in the Taisho and early Showa Eras. His legacy encouraged Holiness pastors to resist later government pressure toward state Shinto and some were imprisoned. His legacy lives on today. A5 size, 288 pp.
