New Mission Opportunities Opened by Christian Relief Workers ( Kirisutosan ga Hiraku Aratana Senkyō )

Pauro Yokota

Japan is a land of natural and man-made disasters. After the Great Kanto Disaster 1995 and the East Japan Disaster in 2011 and the Kumamoto Earthquake in 2016, Christians banded together to help survivors and are known for staying after other volunteers left. They are called Kirisuto-san (Christ ones) by the people. Their sacrificial acts of love have opened the hearts of the people to the Gospel of Christ and new churches are developing. The Japan Mission Forum held a discussion on what forms of ministry are developing. How can churches work together? A5 size, 184 pp.
