105 years ago poet Jūkichi Yagi was a university student studying to be a school teacher who taught English. He was studying English so he decided to keep a diary written in English for the year 1915 when he was 18 years old. His daily entries give the reader a glimpse into his heart and thinking as well as into the world of that time as he experienced it. It is before he became a Christian but he mentions that he had started going to church. The diary was discovered by a distant relative, Hiroko Sato, who supervised the translation into Japanese done by Masatsugu Kobayashi. Distributed by Word of Life Press.
