Iwabuchi first picked up a guitar at age 10 and became a member of various bands beginning in middle school and high school, where he met his wife Yumiko. Turning pro, he met Chu Kosaka who introduced him to Christ. When Kosaka later started Michtam Music, Iwabuchi was among the first artists. Later he left Michtam and became a solo artist, radio disk jockey, studio musician for many secular and Christian recordings and songwriter. Through many difficult experiences, especially the death of his daughter, his faith has become strong as he has experienced God's comfort and grace and heaven has become very real.
