Part of a 10 volume set. These sermons are expositions of John chapters 1-12. Buxton (1860-1946) was a British evangelical Anglican who came to Japan in 1890 as a missionary with the Church Missionary Society. He founded the Japan Evangelistic Band (Nihon Dendoh Tai) along with Paget Wilkes in 1903 and strongly influenced the development of the Holiness movement in Japan. This collection of transcriptions of his sermons was published many years ago, but this edition has updated the language for a new generation of readers. B6 size, 344 pp.
